Job Details

• Location: Plano, Texas 75075
• Healthcare Setting: Endoscopy Unit (5 procedure rooms)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: November 24, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Call Requirement: 4-7 days per month
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1500–$1540

Endoscopy RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent experience as an Endoscopy RN
• Clinical proficiency in colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, ION/bronchoscopy/EBUS, and endoscope reprocessing
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Meditech
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care during endoscopic procedures, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
• Assist with advanced procedures including ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy, EGD, and colonoscopy
• Manage endoscope reprocessing and ensure equipment readiness
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team of RNs and endoscopy technicians
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations
• Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR
