Pay Rate: Starting at $50/hr
Description:
Birch Agency is hiring a Part-Time Special Education Teacher to work in a resource classroom setting near Vadnais Heights, MN. This position involves teaching Math and Reading to a small caseload of approximately 4 to 5 students in grades 1st through 4th. The students have cognitive delays, and the ideal candidate will have experience providing individualized instruction and support to meet their unique learning needs.
Position Details:
Part-Time position
Resource classroom setting
Caseload: 45 students (Grades 14)
Focus on Math and Reading instruction
Work with students with cognitive delays
Located near Vadnais Heights, Minnesota
Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
Qualifications:
Active and valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement for the state of Minnesota
Experience working with students with cognitive delays preferred
Strong classroom management and instructional skills
