The Opportunity
Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a highly analytical and proactive OSAT Senior Analyst to play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic packaging sourcing plan. This position is central to managing key initiatives related to Manufacturing Review Board (MFRB), New Product Introduction (NPI), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes within our Outsource Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) ecosystem. The OSAT Senior Analyst will be responsible for providing critical sourcing and purchasing support, managing essential business processes, and collaborating extensively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment of Allegro's semiconductor post-foundry operations.
What You Will Do
Support the development and deployment of Allegro's mid-to-long term strategic packaging sourcing plan. Drive and manage initiatives related to Manufacturing Review Board (MFRB), New Product Introduction (NPI), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes. Provide essential sourcing and purchasing support and manage critical business processes within the OSAT domain. Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Business Units to effectively execute MFRB, NPI, and RFQ initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure NPI activities are aligned with product development and launch timelines. Conduct in-depth performance data analysis of OSAT partners to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Facilitate monthly Master Price Quotation updates with OSATs and support monthly Outsource Semiconductor Packaging (OSP) pricing updates. Process and manage new item requests within Oracle. Monitor and manage key business processes including Business Continuity Plan, Capital Equipment Management Process, Change Action Board, Natural Disaster Alerts, and Sourcing Business Specification approvals. Actively support and participate in NPI kick-off meetings and core team discussions. Verify purchase price variance and ensure timely settlement of aging invoices. What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field. A minimum of five years of experience in semiconductor operations, supply chain, or strategic sourcing. Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information into clear business language and vice versa. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork and collaboration across diverse groups. Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving cross-functional initiatives to successful completion. Direct sourcing experience in supporting engineering and product development functions. Familiarity with Allegro's enterprise systems, including Coupa, ETQ, Oracle, and Propel. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
