Position Overview The ABA Occupational Therapist is responsible and accountable for evaluation, coordination and administration of quality occupational therapy services. Location: West Grove Schedule: Monday to Friday Times: 8:30AM to 2:15PM Start Date: Immediate Openings Setting: School-Based Therapy Caseload: Multiple Disabilities / Autism K-12th Grade Essential Job Functions Provide occupational therapy services as outlined in the student’s IEP, based on evaluations and team recommendations.

Follow all school district policies, professional practice standards, licensure regulations, and applicable state and federal laws (e.g., IDEA).

Conduct and document comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify student needs, develop goals, and determine appropriate services.

Develop a written therapy plan of care aligned with the student’s IEP goals and in coordination with the IEP team.

Implement therapy using appropriate, evidence-based techniques to support student progress toward identified IEP goals.

Participate in the coordination of services with the IEP team, including parents/guardians, teachers, special education staff, school nurses, and administrators.

Ensure a safe environment for students during all therapy sessions and activities.

Stay informed about the student’s educational and functional status through communication with staff and regular observation.

Maintain consistent and effective communication with school staff, families, and other members of the IEP team.

Serve as a resource and consultant to school staff regarding student needs, accommodations, classroom strategies, and equipment use.

Document student progress toward goals in compliance with school and district guidelines, and share updates with the IEP team as scheduled or requested.

Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development/in-service trainings.

Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) or other support personnel, as required by licensure and district policy.

Requirements • Occupational Therapy Master’s Degree from an accredited university/program • Certification in Occupational Therapy • Completion of accredited Occupational Therapy Program • Current and unrestricted license in the state of practice • Current CPR certification • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures

Additional state specific requirements • Any additional Occupational Therapist licensure board requirements in the state of practice • Continuing Education as required by state

Preferences • One (1) year of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting • Pediatric experience

Physical Requirements • Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English • Must be able to travel • Must be able to lift 50 pounds • Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting • Must be able to sit and climb stairs • Must have visual and hearing acuity • Must have strong sense of smell and touch • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance • Must be able to appropriately respond physically and mentally to emergency situations in the home or during transport

Environment • Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids and infectious diseases
