Operations Specialist
We are seeking an
Operations Specialist (Float Executive Director).
The Operations Specialist delivers quality outcomes through operational coverage at the community level when there is a vacancy in an Executive Director position. This position requires being on call on evenings
and/or weekends to serve the community’s needs. Travel to communities throughout the Jaybird portfolio may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in partnership with the Jaybird Senior Living regional team.
Identify and help resolve operational and/or regulatory issues within the community.
Provide support to community leaders by focusing on overall operations, resident and employee
satisfaction, occupancy, marketing and sales, staffing, training, and financial performance.
Support marketing and sales initiatives to increase occupancy and generate revenue.
Adhere to community budgets, monitor results, and be accountable for financial performance.
Assist in investigating any vulnerable adult complaints and state reportable occurrences.
Monitors the implementation of current training, policies, and procedures, which reflect adherence to
corporate and external regulatory and state guidelines.
Maintains effective communication between management team members and communities.
Uphold confidentiality and Health Insurance and Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
Participate in regularly scheduled marketing, financial, and leadership phone calls.
Assist with scheduling and shift coverage.
Frequent overnight travel and work flexible schedules.
Immediate response to emergent situations required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Maintains valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
Two to four years’ experience managing senior living communities.
