What's a typical day as a Pick, Pack, Ship Associate? You'll be: • Accurately following directions and simple procedures to ensure efficient order processing. • Picking products from Vertical Storage Units (VSU) and Pick-to-Light (PTL) units, placing orders into trays and totes. • Verifying orders prior to boxing and labeling for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality. • Places boxes in magazine chute (Box Dropper) • Scan product and place product into box and flex bag orders • Fill A-Frame channels with product, retrieve and return cases to flow racks • Pick products from Perfect Pick units and place product into totes • push a mobile dumpster to the compactor and put the contents of the dumpsters into the compactor • Retrieve product to fulfill incomplete orders to be shipped the same day • Verify orders prior to boxing and labeling for shipment • Continuously 5S work area to keep it clean, neat, and organized. • Other related duties may be required
This job might be an outstanding fit if you: • Have a high school diploma or GED and at least three months of work experience or training. • Demonstrate outstanding attendance and reliability, with a commitment to punctuality. • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to follow instructions and engage effectively. • Light physical demand level: Exerting up to twenty (20) lbs of force occasionally, up to ten (10) lbs of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects weighing less than twenty-three (23) lbs. • Walking up and down stairs sometimes multiple times a day. As few as 4 but also as many as 30. • Duties require constant walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching forward, reaching above shoulders, pushing, pulling, twisting at the waist, grabbing, finger manipulation, and sitting. • Overtime required
