Position Overview As one of the fastest-growing retailers in the nation, BJ's Wholesale Club is looking to enhance our IT solution team to further develop our supply chain technology platforms. We seek a hands-on IT Solution Architect with extensive experience in Blue Yonder (BY) WMS and Labor Management (LM). This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance systems that significantly impact warehouse operations, labor optimization, and order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities Design innovative and pragmatic WMS/LM solutions tailored to warehouse processes using your technical vision and experience. Lead cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for BY Dispatcher WMS and Labor Management functionalities. Serve as the primary liaison between IT and DC Operations, Logistics, and Transportation teams, ensuring seamless solution alignment. Mentor team members on BY configuration, development best practices, and documentation standards. Ensure compliance with BJ’s SDLC, SOX, PCI, and PII regulatory frameworks. Provide on-call support for high-priority incidents affecting supply chain systems as needed. Additional Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and support of core warehouse processes such as Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, and Shipping. Execute configuration changes in BY WMS & LM to meet business requirements. Develop and maintain custom logic, exception handling, and operational controls using MOCA components and database scripts. Build and optimize MToolbox reports and event notifications for performance tracking and monitoring. Collaborate with operations stakeholders to align business processes with WMS solutions. Review and enhance development artifacts for accuracy and maintainability. Coordinate comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. Implement and improve system integrations leveraging modern tools and cloud-native technologies. Act as a technical escalation point for BY WMS & LM system incidents, collaborating with vendor support as necessary. Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, custom MOCA objects, and operational reports. Identify opportunities to automate and streamline labor management processes proactively. Education & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Systems Management, Information Technology, or a related field is required. (8+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.) Required Experience 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Distribution, or IT Solution Architecture roles. 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting and configuring Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS and Labor Management. Proficiency in MOCA architecture and custom screen and logic development in BY WMS. Expertise in building and supporting MToolbox reports and dashboards. Experience designing resilient solutions in complex warehouse environments (Retail, Grocery, Automotive, etc.). Strong SQL skills and experience with reporting platforms like Cognos. Deep understanding of warehouse labeling standards and inventory tracking methods. Familiarity with integration protocols such as EDI, XML, and FTP. Experience working in Agile or hybrid SDLC models with structured release practices. Soft Skills & Competencies Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across IT and business functions. A strong problem solver with a customer-centric mindset, capable of working under pressure. Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on process adherence and documentation. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus. Work Environment This is a hybrid role; work in the office from Tuesday to Thursday at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA, and enjoy remote work on Monday and Friday. In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we consider various factors when determining salary. The pay range for this position starts from $125,500.00.
