Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,852 per week in Redding, CA

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty, at least 1 year of acute care hospital experience License: Required Certifications: BLS, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have: Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in specialty. Description: Unit provides rehabilitation services including PT, OT, and Speech. Cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, ICU, neuro, and medical-surgical patients are primarily treated. There is a low volume case load for pediatrics. Staffing covers 7 days a week with a team leader when the manager is absent. Weekend work is required every third weekend, with possible adjustments. Work includes participation in holiday rotations. A polo style shirt or button-down long sleeve shirt is provided, along with guidelines for dark solid pants. No scrubs are allowed. There is no floating required between units. The facility has pharmacy and respiratory therapy services available 24/7. Candidates must be open to first-time traveler opportunities. Cancellation policy allows for shifts to be canceled under specific conditions. Charting system utilized is Cerner. Please note that staff includes physical therapist aides on certain days. Floor-specific orientation of 8 hours for all modalities is expected.
