Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $2,390 per week in Portsmouth, NH

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. The unit has 3 beds and a staffing team of 9. Day shift includes one charge nurse, 3 or 4 RNs, and 2 scrub techs. Night shift consists of a 3-member call team. Patient ratios are 3 staff members per operating room. The unit utilizes Open Heart EMR - Meditech. Typical procedures include CABG, valves, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation/interventions, VATS, thoracotomy, fem-pop bypass, and angiograms with interventions. The team provides level 2 trauma coverage for all vascular and thoracic procedures. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible. A scrub color policy is in place, and scrubs are provided. Time-off requests must be made in advance. Call requirements consist of one weekend a month and 2-3 days per week. Travelers will have an RN backup while on call, ensuring support and comfort. The work environment includes a small team with experienced members. The setting is located near a scenic coastal area, providing an enjoyable living experience.
