Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $1,949 per week in Plano, TX

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active Physical Therapist License Certifications: Relevant certifications Must-Have: Acute care and/or inpatient rehab experience is preferred. Must be available to work and rotate 2 weekend shifts (2 days) a month. Description: The ideal candidate will work within a Rehabilitation Therapy unit. You will collaborate with a team of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Speech Therapists, and rehab aids. The patient load is estimated to be 8-12 patients in acute care and 5-6 in inpatient rehab. You will utilize walking equipment, weights, bikes, and treadmills in therapy sessions. Experience with EMR systems is desired. Functional mobilities and activities of daily living (ADLs) will be part of your practice. Candidates should have good communication and collaboration skills. A strong work ethic is crucial for this role. ICU experience and wound vac management are a plus. This is a competitive market, and various factors are considered to attract talented individuals.
