Travel CT Tech - $2,326 per week in Levelland, TX

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: BLS, ARRT CT Must-Have: Technologist must know both CT and X-ray. Technologist will float between units. Call commitment required, from midnight to 7 am one night per week. All techs do both CT and X-ray. Coverage needed on Christmas Day from 7 am to midnight. Call required on Christmas night from midnight to 7 am. Description: The position requires a skilled CT Tech with experience in both CT and X-ray. The tech will be responsible for managing patient care while performing imaging procedures. The expected patient ratio can range from 2 to 20 patients depending on the day and unit demands. The position involves independently handling duties during the shift. This multi-modality position will require floating between different units. The tech must be adaptable and ready to handle various diagnostic tasks. Special procedures may be performed as required by the department. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Compliance with isolation precautions and proper administration of contrast media is mandatory. Technicians are expected to prepare and start peripheral IVs when necessary. Experience with equipment from major brands such as GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba is preferred. The role will involve working with patients of all age groups from neonates to older adults. Adherence to safety and operational procedures in a healthcare environment is critical. It is expected that the tech will contribute to a positive patient experience. Attendance during major holidays is part of the commitment for this position.
