Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS, ACLS, RCIS Must-Have: - Interventional experience is required. Description: The position is for a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech. The unit has a total of 3 procedure rooms. There are 11 staff members in the team. Day shift staffing includes 1 charge tech, 4 techs, and 4 nurses working 4/10 hours shifts. The night shift consists of 3 on-call staff. The patient ratios are 3 staff members per case. Key equipment used includes Philips and Siemens systems. The electronic medical record systems utilized are Meditech and MacLab. The typical procedures performed include PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI, IR cases, and neuro procedures. Candidates should be willing to educate junior staff. Scheduled Saturday cases may occur. On-call duties require at least 12 shifts per month.
