Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - $2,200 to $2,250 per week in Whiteh

Job Title: Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Location: Whitehall, WI Contract Type: 13-week travel assignment Shift: 8-hour day shifts (08:30 AM – 05:00 PM) 5 days per week (40 hours guaranteed) No weekends, on-call, or holidays required Job Responsibilities: Perform testing in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, urinalysis, coagulation, ESR, ABG, phlebotomy, manual cell counts, trauma drug screens, rapid testing Handle micro set up and gram staining Maintain instruments and perform QC Assist in training less experienced lab techs Collect arterial blood gases as needed Accurately document and manage records in EPIC Beaker Equipment/Systems Used: EMR: EPIC Lab Systems: Beaker, Sysmex XN 550, Bactec FX40, i-STAT, Medtox Scan, ACL-350, Roche C501, Roche e411, Ortho Blood Bank Gel Workstation Required Qualifications: Active ASCP Certification: MLT or MLS AHA BLS Certification2 years in specialty Strong phlebotomy skills Arterial blood collection experience Rural health or critical access hospital experience preferred
