Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician Profession: Surgical Technician Specialty: Surgical Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 or 4x12 D/E or D/N Hours per Shift: 4x10: Evenings - 1 PM to 11 PM 4x10: Days - 7 AM to 5:30 PM (M, T, Th, F), 9 AM to 7:30 PM (W) 4x12: Evenings - 11 AM to 11 PM 4x12: Days - 7 AM to 7:30 PM (M, T, Th, F), 9 AM to 9:30 PM (W) Experience: Level 1 trauma experience with cardiac surgery License: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Cardiac and Level 1 trauma experience Description: We are seeking an experienced CST Traveler with a strong background in scrubbing cardiac procedures. Candidates must possess Level 1 trauma experience. This position can contract for a standard 13 weeks but is open to extending up to 20 weeks. Travelers will work 4x10 or 4x12 Day/Evening rotations. Initially, each traveler will be assigned evening shifts based on skills and unit needs. Days will be scheduled when evening shifts are not required. Travelers will be scheduled for an average of 2 weeks of nights within their contract. Each 4-week schedule will include at least 2 short calls and weekend shifts. For 4x10 rotations, when scheduled on weekends, travelers will work 12-hour shifts and may have 8 or 10-hour shifts during the same week to meet contracted hours. Shifts for 4x12 on evenings will be 11 AM to 11 PM. Shifts for 4x12 on days will be 7 AM to 7:30 PM (M, T, Th, F) and 9 AM to 9:30 PM (W). This role requires proven expertise in cardiac procedures and involvement in a Level 1 trauma setting.
