Travel Mammography Tech - $58 to $60 per hour in Seattle, WA

Job Overview Title: Mammography Tech – Outpatient (Temp-to-Hire) Department: Radiology / Cardiology Type: Temp-to-Hire, 13 Weeks Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (08:15 – 17:15), Monday–Friday Job Description Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mammography Tech for a 13-week contract in Seattle, WA, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity , open to both local and non-local clinicians. Candidates must be reliable, experienced in outpatient imaging, and comfortable working across multiple clinic locations if needed. Responsibilities: Perform screening mammograms and ensure high-quality imaging standards. Operate Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment (preferred). Accurately document exams and maintain compliance within Epic EMR . Adhere to established safety, HIPAA, and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for patient care coordination. Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and clear communication during procedures. May float between Beacon Hill and Canyon Park clinics depending on scheduling needs. Key Requirements: Minimum 1 year of outpatient mammography experience . Prior charge experience preferred . Must have reliable transportation (not public transit); required for possible floating. Flexible to cover multiple locations within skillset. Facility may call off up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks). Temp-to-hire expectation: Non-local candidates must confirm willingness to relocate if offered full-time. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Experience: At least 1 year in an adult outpatient clinic performing mammography required. Seasoned tech strongly preferred; first-time travelers accepted. License & Certifications: ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) required. BLS required. State license required at time of signature (pending license not accepted). Skills: Proficiency with Epic EMR . Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX (preferred). Strong knowledge of outpatient mammography workflows. Patient-focused, with excellent communication and care skills.
