The individual is responsible for administering prescribed doses of radiation to targeted areas of the body. Knowledge of radiation safety protocols is essential. Experience with custom molds, shields, and tumor localization techniques is required. Familiarity with imaging techniques such as CBCT and kV/mV imaging is necessary. The candidate must be able to calculate the dose of radiation accurately. Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic, is required. The position involves working with adult and geriatric patients. The therapist will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to operate special equipment effectively. Understanding of isolation precautions and adult acute care is important. Certifications must be from recognized agencies and in hand at the time of submission. Two references obtained within the last year are required. Candidates should disclose any background issues prior to submission. The role may require flexible scheduling, including weekends.
