Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Required Certifications: ACLS*, ARRT R, ARRT VI*, BLS Must-Have: Candidate must have experience in accessing and managing ports, angiography of the genitourinary system, angioplasty, carotid angiography, catheter/drain exchange, and other interventional radiology procedures. Description: SENSITIVE UNIT: Please ensure the candidate has reviewed all details in the job description. SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday with a variable day off. WEEKEND: Call only requirement. CALL: 1 day call per week, 1 weekend every 6 weeks. FLOATING: Floating within the facility/scope of practice as needed. Candidates will float to other departments with required procedures. CLINICAL SCREEN: Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the candidate passes the clinical review, they will be sent to management for final decision. The clinical screening process will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. MAXIMUM REQUESTED TIME OFF: 7 days. HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two out of the three. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. COMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time. If the candidate is not compliant in time, the start date may be pushed back 2 weeks. Travelers must have the appropriate license prior to submission. Candidates must provide two supervisory references upon submission. References must be from a manager or above, charge nurse references are not accepted. Candidates must be available to submit core items promptly to ensure an on-time start.
