Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,966 per week in Rochester, NY

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Experience: 1 year required License: NY license required in hand to submit Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS Must-Have: EPIC experience is a hard requirement Description: The Cath Lab Tech will work in a Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab. Responsibilities include performing Cardiac Implant Closure Device procedures and Cardiac Stent placements. The Tech will conduct Diagnostic Catheterizations for adults, including IABP Placement and Removal. Interpretation of dysrhythmias is also a key responsibility. The role involves Left Heart Catheterization as well as Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA). Right Heart Catheterization and Rotablader athrectomy procedures are also part of the duties. The Tech will scrub procedures and set up equipment as needed. Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias and maintaining a sterile field is essential. The role requires adherence to Isolation Precautions and Sterile Technique. This position is open to candidates with experience in Cardiac Cath lab environments. Candidates should be comfortable floating between various procedures and units as required.
