Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Location: MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital, Clinton, MD Start Date: 11/03/2025 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 Evenings (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts per contract (1 day shift each weekend, not both days) Call Requirement: Rotating weekends only W2 ST Pay $640.00 Per-Diem (Weekly ) $640.00 Weekly Gross Pay to candidate(before Taxes) $1,280.00 Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Tech Must hold CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification Travel experience required (first-time travelers accepted depending on experience) References: 2 supervisor references required License: Compact or MD license required Skills Needed: Decontamination & Disinfection (manual cleaning, high-level disinfection, chemical agents) Sterilization (Steam, Sterrad, Steris, IUSS, gas testing, indicators) Instrument & Tray Assembly, Case Carts, Preference Cards, Wrapping Procedures Specialty Equipment Processing: Bariatric, Cardiac, ENT, Endoscopy, General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Robotics, etc. Endoscope/Scope Reprocessing Equipment Documentation & SPM (Sterile Processing Microsystem) Acute Hospital OR experience preferred Facility Details: Type: Short-Term Acute Care Total Beds: 197 Charting: Cerner Scrubs: Hunter Green (provided) Parking: Free
