Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $3,137 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT VI Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Trauma Level I experience - Experience with various interventional procedures Description: The facility has a hybrid OR suite utilized by specialized neurologists. The cases include diagnostic cerebral angiograms, treatment of strokes, ruptured aneurysms, AVMs, and carotid stenting. Shifts are negotiable as 4x10s (Monday-Friday) with on-call requirements for after-hours and weekends. A minimum of 125 hours of call per month is required. Experience with the documentation system Epic is preferred. Candidates must have skills in carotid angiography, stenting, embolization, and hemodynamic monitoring. Travel experience is required. Ability to maintain a sterile field and perform EKG lead placement is essential. Candidates must have knowledge in recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias and prepping access sites. The daily patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role includes working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Special equipment experience is preferred. Compliance with credentialing processes is crucial. Strict adherence to deadlines is required for credentialing and fingerprinting. Two professional references are needed, with one from a supervisor or manager.
