Job Title: Echo Tech Profession: Echo Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Tuesday through Saturday Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: NH Imaging License Certifications: RDCS or RCS, BLS Must-Have: 3 plus years of Adult echocardiography experience Stress Echo experience Description: Shift is Tuesday through Saturday consisting of five 8-hour shifts. The unit has a total of 86 beds. There are 1 to 2 sonographers on day shift. Night shift requires call coverage. Patient ratios are not applicable. Typical equipment includes GE Vivid and Philips Epic EMR. The most recruited skill set includes a minimum of 3 years of adult echocardiography experience. Stress echo experience is a requirement. Preferred candidates will have transesophageal echocardiography experience. Typical procedures performed include Adult Echocardiogram and Stress Echocardiogram/Dobutamine TEE. Candidates must be capable of working independently as well as within a team. Flexibility is important for this role. The dress code consists of any color scrubs, with gray scrubs provided. Rotating Sunday call is required, which averages 1 to 2 weekend night shifts per week.
