Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,466 per week in Cocoa Beach, FL

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab required. License: Florida State or compact license required at time of submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience with the Xper recording platform required. Weekend shifts required: Yes, every other weekend. On-call rotating coverage required, including during hurricane events. Description: The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for performing cardiac catheterizations and related procedures. Experience in both Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab settings is necessary. The position requires proficiency in cardioversion, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies. Experience with angioplasty and stent placement is also required. Additional skills in dialysis graft interventions, endovascular interventions, and upper and lower extremity angiography are essential. The candidate should have experience with special equipment, including Impella, balloon pump, CSI, Shockwave, and Penumbra. The Cath Lab Tech will maintain a sterile field and assist in ensuring patient safety throughout procedures. Knowledge of PACS is required. Candidates must hold a diploma from an accredited program in Cardiopulmonary Technology, Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Respiratory Therapy, Radiological Technology, EMS-P, or Surgical Technology. Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are required, with medical or religious exemptions permitted.
