Travel Ultrasound Tech - $2,620 to $2,680 per week in Galveston, TX

Job Title: Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Contract) Location: Galveston, TX 77550 Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Shift: 8-hour variable day shifts (Monday – Friday) Shift Times: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Weekend Rotation: None On-Call Requirement: None Holiday Rotation: Required Responsibilities: Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress tests, and administer contrast and bubble studies. Ensure diagnostic images meet quality standards. Accurately document findings and maintain records using EPIC and PACS. Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain and clean equipment as needed. Adhere to department protocols, safety procedures, and hospital policies. Required Certifications: Any ONE of the following: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Education: Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program (Required) Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in cardiac sonography Must be proficient in TTE, stress testing, administering contrast, and bubble studies Technical Requirements: Electronic Health Records: EPIC Imaging Software: PACS Equipment: Standard echocardiography equipment from various vendors
