Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Interventional Radiology Technician Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:30 AM - 06:00 AM Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Required in diagnostic and interventional procedures License: Valid State Radiography License Certifications: ARRT Certification, BLS Certification Must-Have: Graduation from an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology Experience in neuro, cardiac, or vascular surgery Experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures including: - Angiography - Embolization - Venous access - Venography - Myelography - Abdominal interventions - Paracentesis - Thoracentesis - Biopsy - TIPS - Dialysis access/fistula work - Y90/SIRT Description: The IR Technologist collaborates with a team of nurses, advanced practice providers, attending physicians, residents, and tech assistants. This role supports a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. The technologists cover clinical areas including IR, CT-guided procedures, vascular surgery, cardiac hybrid procedures, endovascular neurosurgery, and endoscopic interventions. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of interventional radiology procedures. Candidates must possess the necessary educational background and certifications to be considered for this role.
