Travel MRI Tech - $2,832 per week in Silverdale, WA

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Mon-Fri Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: 2 years License: Washington State Radiologic Technologist License required for certain certifications Certifications: ARRT certification required. Current healthcare provider BLS certification required. ARRT MRI certification preferred. Must-Have: IV skills required. Experience in MRI Cardiac, Breast, and Breast Biopsy MRI is encouraged. Description: This position involves working in the Radiology department performing MRI scans. The technologist will conduct imaging for various body parts, including the brain, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, cardiac, prostate, and musculoskeletal system. The technologist will also be responsible for imaging patients with implanted devices and must research them prior to imaging. Two MRI scanners are available in the main facility, with additional scanners located in outpatient clinics. The technologist may need to float or cover different areas depending on operational needs. They will participate in the holiday rotation and standby rotation as required. Personal scrubs are required, and hospital scrubs are provided only to specific personnel. There are in-house radiologists available for consultation. Collaboration with radiology aides will be part of the role. Experience with EPIC and Sectra PACS systems is advantageous. A maximum of four shifts can be canceled by the hospital during the 13-week assignment. The candidate must possess skills in starting IVs.
