Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,631 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9.5 Experience: 2 years minimum License: Must have a valid state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS or RT Must-Have: - Minimum of 1 prior travel assignment - Ability to function in a fast-paced, efficient environment - Team player Description: The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for interventional cardiac procedures. Key skills required include cardiac stent placement, scrubbing, right and left heart catheterization, rotablader use, thrombectomy, stents, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty. Familiarity with acute monitoring and room circulation is preferred. Additional preferred skills include experience with Cerner, ACIST device, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR. The role requires participation in on-call shifts, which include one weeknight call and weekend shifts three times a month. A strong ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team is essential. Scrubs will be provided for the job. The daily patient census will range from 12 to 20, focusing primarily on adult and geriatric populations. The unit provides a variety of cardiac procedures, including right and left heart catheterizations, stents, angioplasty, and structural heart interventions.
