The Interventional Technologist will be a Diagnostic Technologist cross-trained in Interventional Radiology. Responsibilities include assuming accountability for designated areas as assigned. The Technologist will operate X-ray equipment, prepare patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and contrast media. There will be responsibilities for charging supplies and Current Procedural Terminology codes. This role supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of the Radiology Department. Desired qualifications include two years of experience in diagnostic x-ray and previous interventional experience. Candidates should ideally have at least one year of experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist in an acute healthcare facility. Preferred certification includes ARRT Advanced Level Interventional Certification in Cardiovascular Interventional Technology.
