Travel Surgical Tech - $1,452 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Ambulatory OR CST Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, Clienttion badge needs to be provided by parent company Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, and Total Joints. Candidates should be well-rounded in specialties that align with the caseload. Description: The position is for an Ambulatory OR Certified Surgical Tech. Shifts available are 3x12s from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM or 4x10s from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There is one late week requirement every four weeks to complete cases. No weekends are required. On-call duty is not required. There is a possibility of floating within the perioperative facility to meet needs. The manager is open to accommodating block schedules at their discretion. Candidates must provide a radiation badge. The unit features 9 operating rooms. Travelers may be called off for 10 hours per two-week period. Travelers may be required to precept a care team member in the operating room. During hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Candidates should be aware that hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September. All RTO requests must be included at the time of submission. The facility prioritizes non-local candidates first. Local candidates will be considered within a 60-mile radius. Previous staff must be separated from the system for one year before returning. Candidates must have an active license in hand or proof of application for the license. Module completion is required before the proposed start date.
