Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - School - $236 per week in Sacramento, CA

Weekly Pay $51.67/hour - OT at UC Davis Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Sacramento - Provide occupational therapy services to medically complex adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. - Conduct initial patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans addressing physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs. - Deliver direct therapeutic interventions focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental ADLs, mobility, coordination, and self-care skills. - Recommend and train patients in the safe and effective use of adaptive equipment. - Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members (PT, SLP, Nursing, Physicians) for coordinated patient care. - Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and discharge planning. - Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using the Cerner EHR system. - Maintain patient safety, support functional recovery goals, and adhere to best practices throughout care. - Manage a daily caseload of 4 5 patients with a treatment expectation of 6 hours of direct care. - Treat patients with diagnoses such as traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic trauma. - Position is per diem, day shift, with flexible weekend availability, and no call or float requirements. - Must hold a California OT license, have at least 2 years of relevant experience, and possess strong clinical knowledge in neuro, trauma, and orthopedic rehab.
