Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: Permanent Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of radiologic/CT experience preferred; new graduates considered License: State certification required Certifications: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Must-Have: COVID Vaccine or Medical/Religious Exemption required Description: We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist with Computed Tomography experience. This position is responsible for performing radiographic procedures to produce diagnostic images in the radiology department, emergency room, and surgery suite using portable techniques. The technologist will provide procedural-related patient care and education. Maintaining records and documentation for procedures is essential. Identifying and supporting patient care needs, including language barriers, is crucial. Treating patients and families with dignity and respect is expected. Confidentiality of patient records must be ensured. The technologist should interact professionally with patients and families, providing explanations and verbal reassurance as necessary. The candidate must be able to work independently and be proficient in the role. This position is subject to sharing in the rotating on-call weeknights and weekend schedule. Qualifications: Graduation from a minimum of a 2-year Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent is required. State certification is necessary. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required. One year of radiologic/CT experience is preferred.
