The OIP ensures that the Cayuga Cancer Center pharmacy provides optimal services; facilitates safe medication use, meets all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements; and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes, and standards as they pertain to all areas served by the Cayuga Cancer Center pharmacy. Job Responsibilities include: ? Enforces policies and procedures that promote safe, appropriate, cost-effective chemotherapy/medication use. ? Manages all oncology pharmacy services staff in production of all types of admixtures, verifies accuracy of procedures, proper chemotherapy regimen interpretation, order validation, drug preparation and labeling.
