This role does not require floating between units. Weekend work is required, with a rotation shared among full-time staff. Expected patient care ratio is 1:1. Special requirements include proficiency in specific clinical skills related to acute care settings. Candidates should have experience with various patient conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and neurological conditions. The facility is a Short-Term Acute Care setting with a total of 379 staffed beds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and family engagement. Maintaining professionalism in dress code and adherence to facility policies is essential. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby. Non-compliance with floating requirements may result in consequences regarding guaranteed hours. References are required from supervisory roles covering experience within the last three years. Attendance during holidays is expected, with commitments to work on designated holidays. Employers will provide necessary communication devices for job performance.
