Job Description & Requirements Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech) StartDate: 10/27/2025 Available Shifts: 10 N Pay Rate: $2844.28 - $3116.60 1 Years of experience required - Active CA License, ARRT(R)(CT), BLS and Rad Badge required. Candidates must be willing to perform X-ray in addition to CT when needed. Must have Toshiba equipment experience. Must also have Epic experience within the past year. Under minimal supervision, performs diagnostic computerized tomography (CT) procedures as requested by a physician to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients (such as head, chest, spine, abdomen, pelvis, assistance with biopsies, cardiac/vascular studies, bone density, etc.). Performs daily QA’s and weekly QA’s on CT equipment as suggested by manufacturer’s guidelines. Starts intravenous lines (IV’s). Administers contrast media orally, rectally, and/or intravenously. Enters data such as type of scan requested, slice thickness, scan time, and other technical data into computer. Starts CT scanner to scan designated anatomical area of patient. Views images of organs on CT display console to ensure quality of images. Should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. Performs any combination of the following duties depending on the area of assignment. Required Qualifications CT Technologist, Computed Tomography Experience: 1 year Licenses: RAD-CA Certifications: CTTECH-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); R-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed) SSN Required DOB Required References: 1 Reference in entire work history Completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology training program MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM X-RAY Toshiba equipment experience Recent Epic experience within past 12mo Facility Location Located in central California, just eight miles from the Pacific Ocean, Salinas is home to a large agricultural industry where you can find some of the best locally grown produce in the country.
