Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,126 per week in Cape Girardeau, MO

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year experience License: Permanent license required Certifications: ARRT (R), RCIS, or CCI; ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - First-time travelers must be able to scrub cases for interventional cardiac procedures, pacemakers, and temporary pacemakers. - On-call 7-10 days per month, which includes 1 weekend. Description: Techs must be able to scrub. Registered Nurses must be able to circulate. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient work settings is required. Equipment documentation experience is also required. Skills needed include aseptic technique, airway management, central line insertion and management, and circulatory procedures. Experience with specific procedures such as rotablator atherectomy, transcatheter aortic valve implantation/replacement (TAVI/TAVR), and ventricular assist device insertion is necessary. Additional experience required includes TEVAR, pericardial window, mitral valve replacement, femoral popliteal bypass graft, endovascular aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass graft, carotid endarterectomy, cardiomyoplasty, atrial septal defect repair, atherectomy, and abdominal aortic aneurysm repair. Availability for varied call schedules and weekend shifts is essential.
