Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,548 per week in Albuquerque, NM

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Inpatient Rehab - Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in wound care License: State License Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: - Wound care experience - Experience in selective debridement and advanced dressing selection Description: No locals within 75 miles. COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of required form. Position involves providing wound care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Must have experience in complex wound care needs, including debridement, advanced dressing selection, and use of wound vacs. The role includes working with various surgical teams to ensure positive outcomes for traumatic and surgical wounds. Experience in managing chronic wounds such as venous or arterial ulcers is essential. Skills required include assessment, pain assessment, sensory response, and creating a plan of care. Additional responsibilities include discharge planning, long-term and short-term goal setting, and reassessments. Travelers should have knowledge of assistive devices and skin integrity management. This position does not involve floating to sister facilities. Availability to work 40 hours per week is necessary, with the possibility of being called off up to three times during the assignment. RTO restrictions apply; requests exceeding 7 days require approval. A valid driver's license must be provided. Compliance documents must be submitted ahead of time to meet requirements. Travelers should ensure personal transportation to fulfill job duties.
