Travel Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) - $3,362 per week in Soldotna, AK

Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist Profession: Cardiovascular Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Services Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 8-hour day shift Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Two years in diagnostic and/or interventional cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab License: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (exam eligible at time of hire) or CVT with four years of cath lab experience Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Graduate from an approved school of radiologic technology - Demonstrates clinical competence in basic cardiac physiology/pathology - 12-Lead EKG interpretation - Physiologic monitoring knowledge - Pacemaker operations (implantable and external) Description: Under general supervision, provides technical support and assistance to the physician during diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures. Performs scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties with cardiac catheterizations, vascular and interventional radiology procedures using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgment in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols. Assists in holding area. Provides care assessment prior to, during, and post-procedural care and instruction to patients. Prepares and maintains all pertinent information related to procedures. Call is required. Some weekends may be required. Five 8-hour shifts per week. Floating to other units/departments is not identified at this time. Dress code: Scrubs. This is a new service line. Scheduling details: Monday to Friday, with call.
