Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: M-F Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current ARRT in Radiography Certifications: ARRT (CT, XR) Must-Have: - High School Diploma or GED - Completion of a CT/XR training program - Minimum 1 year experience Description: Urgent need for experienced CT/XR Technologist. The Radiologic Technologist must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate for patients. The individual must show knowledge of growth and development principles and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status. They must interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's needs and provide the necessary care as described in departmental policies. Employee will work with patients and employees of all cultural and religious backgrounds. Employee performs within the prescribed limits of the Ethics and Compliance Program. They are responsible for detecting, observing, and reporting compliance variances to their immediate supervisor or the Compliance Officer. All employees must adhere to the Mission, Vision, and Key Values of the organization. Essential functions include providing radiographic examination of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation. Must exercise professional judgment in performing procedures while applying principles of radiation protection. Perform diagnostic medical radiography in all areas as needed. Maintain patient records and files. Assume responsibility for the departmental quality assurance program. Pursue continuing education to enhance skills. Transfer patients to and from radiology as required. Rotate shifts as necessary. Perform ancillary duties as requested by the supervisor. Follow policies and procedures established by the administration. Assist in maintaining general hygiene of department and oneself. Should be able to work well in stressful situations. Must be willing to take call and report to work within 20 minutes. Able and willing to perform additional duties as assigned.
