Job Description
The Northern New England - Estimator (NH, ME or VT) will be responsible for:
Comprehensive expertise in construction materials, methods, practices, and contracts. Proficient in using Sage Estimating software, Microsoft Office applications (Excel, SharePoint, etc.), and Adobe Acrobat. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to effectively interpret bid documents and create construction detail sketches. Skilled in estimating project costs using probability, providing detailed insights into overall expenses, part-specific costs, and project timelines. Effective communicator, both visually through sketches and diagrams, and verbally. Familiarity with measurement techniques, economic principles, and business fundamentals. Strong abstract thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a critical and analytical mindset. The Successful Applicant
The Northern New England - Estimator (NH, ME or VT) should have:
5+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field Proficient in Procore and other construction related software Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications Track record of delivering accurate cost estimates that support successful project execution within budget and time line constraints. Solid knowledge of contract compliance and scope definition for subcontractor agreements. Commutable to any of their 4 office (NH, VT or ME) What's on Offer
