Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: MRI Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year License: ARRT(MR) Certifications: Required ARRT(MR) Must-Have: Candidates must have experience with GE 1.5T Signa Artist Evo and Siemens Avanto 1.5T. Candidates must have venipuncture/IV start experience. Candidates must have trauma and neuro experience. Description: The unit has 332 beds and a staff of 4. There are 2 MR techs on day shift and 2 MR techs on evening shift. The patient ratios are manageable for efficient care. The type of equipment includes GE Signa Artist Evo 1.5T. The EMR system used is Meditech, and the PACS system is McKesson. Typical procedures performed include comprehensive MRI/MRA, all MSK, neuro, and GI scans. There are no cardiac, prostate, or breast scans performed in this unit. The ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and work well independently. Candidates should emphasize patient safety, exam quality, and customer experience. Candidates must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Enjoyment of working in a collaborative team setting is essential.
