If you are interested in this Material Handler 1 position, please contact Sawyer at sbollitier@alinestaffing.com Material Handler 1 Compensation The pay for this position is $18.00 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Material Handler 1 Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Night shift 8:00pm – 8:00am (3-2-2-3 schedule) Material Handler 1 Responsibilities Perform pallet/case picking including scanning bar codes, picking, labeling, packing, and processing orders through RF technology Verify accuracy and prepare shipments with proper packaging Palletize, re-palletize, shrink wrap, and transport pallets as needed Follow safety instructions and maintain compliance with SOPs, GDP, and C2C training modules Assist with dock manifest duties and MHE (Material Handling Equipment) operations Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional work area Cross-train in other warehouse roles and act as backup when required Report safety hazards, incidents, or suspicious activity immediately Uphold sanitation, housekeeping, quality, and organizational safety standards Material Handler 1 Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience required Experience with sit-down forklift preferred Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment Ability to read and interpret distribution documents May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner Ability to work under minimal supervision in a metrics-driven environment Strong organizational and prioritization skills Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse or distribution experience Familiarity with safety and security procedures in a distribution environment If you think this Material Handler 1 position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me—feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
