We’re seeking an experienced Intake and Pre-Litigation Attorney who values being the first point of contact for individuals seeking answers, compassion, and advocacy. In this role, you’ll not only help evaluate which cases our firm can pursue, balancing empathy with sound legal judgment, but also guide accepted cases through the early stages of development, working closely with the team to build a strong foundation for litigation.

This position blends the roles of attorney, advocate, and intake strategist, with a strong focus on pre-litigation case development. After a case is signed, you’ll collaborate with the legal team to ensure a smooth transition from intake through the early stages of litigation. The ideal candidate will bring excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of personal injury law, and a steadfast commitment to client advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement

• Conduct in-depth interviews to assess case merit
• Build rapport and trust with prospective clients

Legal Evaluation and Pre-Litigation Support

• Evaluate legal merit, case value, and alignment with firm priorities
• Flag urgent needs in retained cases
• Assist with early-stage case development (records, memos, evidence)

Client Guidance

• Clearly explain legal rights, timelines, and next steps
• Set expectations for the litigation process and firm procedures

Onboarding

• Ensure accurate and efficient completion of onboarding documentation
• Coordinate with lead attorneys for smooth case transition

CRM Management

• Maintain accurate lead records in Lead Docket
• Monitor transition from Lead Docket to Filevine

Collaboration

• Work closely with attorneys, intake team, and pre-litigation staff
• Coordinate with marketing to improve lead conversion and intake workflows

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law
• Experience in personal injury law, with a strong understanding of case evaluation and client counseling
• Familiarity with pre-litigation case tasks and workflows is strongly preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Empathetic, confident, and professional in client interactions
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills

SALARY commensurate with experience.
