We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support our business and mission objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions, while continuously improving your technical expertise.
Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain software applications, services, and systems
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team standards
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver solutions that meet business and user needs
Identify and troubleshoot issues, debug applications, and implement fixes
Contribute to discussions on system design, architecture, and technology choices
Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Professional experience in software development with proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript)
Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, and version control systems (Git)
Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and CI/CD practices
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable software
Ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance
Schedule: 100% onsite in San Diego, CA
Salary: 100k+ to align with experience and education
