The RCMS Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale operational initiatives within our Revenue Cycle Management Services division. This role will be responsible for building and managing a comprehensive workplan across multiple internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of a complex outsourcing engagement. The ideal candidate will bring experience managing transitions of back-office functions, including rebadging efforts, with strong organizational skills and the ability to anticipate dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies. While client delivery leaders will own external communication, this Project Manager will focus on driving internal execution and coordination across Healthrise, global (India-based) vendors, and client teams.
Responsibilities
- Utilize ClickUP project management software to create, manage, and track tasks, timelines, and dependencies across all workstreams
- Coordinate internal Healthrise teams, client stakeholders, and vendor partners to ensure milestones are met on time and within scope
- Lead regular project status meetings, ensuring action items, risks, and issues are clearly documented and tracked to resolution
- Manage multiple project implementations simultaneously and effectively prioritize associated tasks
- Anticipate and mitigate risks, escalating as needed to RCMS leadership
- Support transition activities related to outsourcing and rebadging back-office functions
- Ensure operational readiness by managing dependencies across revenue cycle functions
- Provide project reporting and updates to RCMS leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
Requirements:
- 3+ years of project management experience within healthcare or revenue cycle management
- Proven experience managing outsourcing operations and rebadging transitions
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to develop and execute detailed project workplans
- Detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects in varying stages of progress without loss of efficiency or effectiveness
- Experience coordinating across internal teams, clients, and global vendor partners
- Familiarity with Epic revenue cycle workflows
- Global BPO experience strongly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex information into clear updates
- Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
- PMP or formal project management training a plus but not required
- Willingness to travel for key client or vendor meetings as needed
