Job Description:
The Electrician’s primary responsibilities are to oversee all aspects of the Electrical Construction and some planning activities, including project documentation. They will be responsible for the layout and execution of electrical projects, some per plan and some design build or service work. The Electrician’s role includes enhancing relationships with Clients, Subcontractors, Vendors/Suppliers and Governing entities, as well as assisting with all preconstruction and post construction activities during turnover. This is a full time position estimated at 40 hours a week, overtime required as needed with approval.
Qualifications:
· At least two years of active journeyman status
· 4th year apprentices will be considered
· Commercial, industrial, & residential electrical experience
· Competent with mobile device software applications
· Experience in BuilderTrend or similar systems
· Capable of working independently and completing tasks before deadlines
· OSHA 10 certification or above
· Ability to lift 80lbs, stand for long periods of time, use of ladders and working at heights
· Active Driver’s License
· Ability to take a background check
· Generally available between 6am-4pm Monday through Friday; some night or weekends required as needed
· Journeyman Electrical License

Role duties:
· Receive project information, plans and specifications in varying formats
· Read and interpret project information
· Verify material lists
· Procure additional materials from suppliers as required
· Complete electrical scope
· Escalate scope and or other issues to Foreman/Project Manager
· Generate detailed daily logs with photos per project
Representation:
· Electricians are required to keep their personal appearance in such a manner as to represent the company in a professional manner. Foul and derogatory behavior toward anyone will not be tolerated. Estimators are required to be professional in appearance, demeanor and speech at all times.
- The use of drugs and alcohol while on the job is grounds for immediate termination. Working while under the influence of such substances is also grounds for immediate dismissal.
- Electricians must complete daily logs with photos that reflect job progress and accurately detail the events of the day prior to the end of each day.
- Electricians are expected to communicate new leads, change orders and other opportunities to the Foreman immediately.
- Electricians are expected to communicate deficiencies or potential litigious actions to the President immediately.
- All job site incidents and injuries are to be reported to the office immediately.
