Travel MRI Tech - $2,408 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:00 - 18:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: ARRT MR or ARMRIT required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Available to work 4 out of the 8 major holidays. Must work weekends on call every 4-6 weeks. Inpatient and outpatient experience required. Description: The traveler is required to work 12-hour shifts on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Weekend call will be from Friday to Sunday every 4-6 weeks. The contract requires the traveler to have at least one year of experience in MRI. Experience must include both inpatient and outpatient settings. The types of scans performed include brain (perfusion, functional, spectroscopy) and body (enterography, defecography, musculoskeletal, breast, spine). A daily caseload of 11 exams per scanner is expected. The facility utilizes Siemens Aera 1.5t and Siemens Skyra 3.0t MRI systems. Travelers must complete a safety clearance process prior to starting. Compliance with health and safety protocols is mandatory. All travelers must be clean-shaven for fit testing purposes. A six-month break is required after one year of traveling before returning to travel assignments.
