Travel Surgical Tech - $1,886 per week in Bismarck, ND

Job Title: Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Call Hours per Shift: 32 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Verification, UAP Must-Have: Must have 1 year of experience in either Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics. Experience with Open Bellies GYN and Davinci XI for general. Endoscopy experience is acceptable with a refresher. Description: Department operates 12 surgical suites. An endoscopy suite and cystoscopy suite are also available. Common cases include pediatric to geriatric patients. Endoscopic procedures, Davinci XI for General/GYN, and urology procedures are frequently performed. ION robotic cases and open abdominal surgeries are part of the case mix. A charge nurse is available for all shifts. The clinical supervisor creates the schedule. There will be 1-2 weeknight call shifts. Weekend on-call requirements include being available every 3-4 weekends. Holidays must also be worked on a rotating basis with permanent staff. Call response time is set at 15 minutes. An 8-hour reprieve is given for post-call shifts. A sleep room is available for those on call. Floating to cover other specialties may be required. Training for 1:1 sitter roles will be provided. Flexibility to pick up additional hours for patient sitter roles is expected. Provided scrub color will be given to employees. The department promotes a family atmosphere.
