This Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical and production support for all SMT processes and equipment. Will also, be able to operate all SMT equipment. Support the PCBA group by resolving problems that arise in the SMT process including solder paste printing, pick and place, reflow, SPI, x-ray inspection, AOI, Automated Storage, depanel, PCBA Wash, Ionic Tester and selective solder. · Job duties may also include machine operation, setup, training, and helping operators on machine operation and setup, and ensuring proper program performance and efficiency. · Assist on the qualification of new SMT equipment and on the validation of new PCBAs. · Experience using software to generate machine code to run SMT pick and place tools. Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Electrical, Manufacturing or related Engineering degree with ~3 years of experience manufacturing PCBAs, SMT processes, SMT programming, in contract manufacturing or similar industry ~ Experience with Juki SMT equipment and Koh Young inspection tools is a plus ~ Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation. Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving heavy equipment and/or supplies frequently. Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools frequently. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking.
