Vice President of Philanthropy

Community Forward SF is defining radical care for San Francisco’s most vulnerable women and gender-expansive people by providing essential housing, mental health services, and crisis response. We are seeking a Vice President of Philanthropy to serve as the chief architect of our fundraising vision and strategy. The VP will design, oversee, and execute a diversified revenue plan to meet current and future organizational needs. Responsibilities: Develop and lead an integrated annual fundraising strategy to raise $1M+ annually from individuals, foundations, and corporations. Personally cultivate and steward a portfolio of 50–75 major gift prospects and donors capable of giving $25,000+ annually. Partner with the Co-CEOs, Board, and Campaign Manager to drive donor engagement for a comprehensive $15M+ campaign. Oversee and innovate across all fundraising streams, including events, donor communications, corporate engagement, and new philanthropic partnerships. Lead development of fundraising dashboards, campaign reports, donor pipelines, and grant calendars.
