Job Title: Cardiac Cath Technologist Profession: Cath Lab Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Active state license required Certifications: - ACLS (AHA) - ARRT - BLS (AHA) - Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have: - Minimum 3 years of cath lab experience - Experience in high-risk coronary intervention and STEMI intervention scrubbing - Ability to scrub/circulate a STEMI - Willingness to learn circulating/monitoring in neuro interventional for call Description: Candidates will be responsible for scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in a fast-paced environment. Daily volume includes an average of 18 cases. The work involves interacting with high-risk coronary patients as well as neuro patients. Candidates must be familiar with the Epic and McKesson EMR systems. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. Candidates may be floated to other departments if necessary. A supervisor or charge personnel will be available during operating hours. This position requires working five days a week and includes weekend and holiday call requirements. Unit-specific orientation will be provided during the first week.
