Overview

Overnight Retail Cashier at Jacksons Food Stores. Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour. Shift: part-time, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays. Overnight Shift Differential: to be eligible, you must work at least 4 hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Location: Mission St. SE, Salem, OR; Open 24 Hours. Must be available to work between the hours of 10 PM and 7 AM.

What You’ll Do

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.)
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly
• Assist with additional store duties as needed

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
